Fire-rated shutter for certified protection up to 120 minutes
The ARCO Fire Shutter is a fire-rated roller shutter designed for projects requiring certified fire protection. Manufactured in-house from Australian-made Bluescope galvanised steel, the ARCO Fire Shutter is tested and certified for up to 120 minutes fire integrity.
All fire shutters are supplied with a covering hood as a mandatory requirement to maintain fire integrity and compliance.
Available in manual or motorised operation, the ARCO Fire Shutter provides automatic closing in the event of fire, delivering reliable compliance and safety in a streamlined design.

- Fire Ratings: Expressed as –/–/– (structural adequacy / fire integrity / insulation). Arco fire shutters are certified for fire integrity of 120 mins. No insulation value is provided; drenching may be required if insulation is specified.
- Curtain: Roll formed Bluescope Z275 galvanised steel, 1.0mm profile.
- Bottom Rail: Two 45 x 50 x 4.73 steel angles mounted back to back. No rubber seal included.
- Drum: C350 seamless line pipe with cold-drawn 1020 solid bar axles on sealed roller bearings. Includes Australian-made helical springs for sprung doors.
- Operation: Options include Grifco fire shutter manual hoist with fusible link, optional magnet release, or Grifco fire shutter motor with auto-close linked to fire indicator panel (FIP).
- Finishes: Supplied in galvanised (silver) or Dulux powder coat finishes. Both sides of slats coated as standard for superior protection and colour consistency.
- Weight: Approx. 14.1kg/m² (1.0mm), not including drum or motor.
- Maximum Size: 9m wide x 6m high.
